All tyre info regrading our used tyre grading is available bellow. In the the two tables from bellow you will be able to find all the information regarding how we grade our part worn tyres. Also we will try to explain the steps in our grading process. It starts when a tyre is unloaded from a truck in our facility. During the unloading process all the tyre that are part worn, still good for reuse, are put aside from the tyre casings and the scrap. Next, the first grade is given depending by tread depth, visual faults and DOT. The pressure check follows, where the final grade is given. It cannot be higher than the first grade given from visual inspection, but could be lower if repairs are needed, or a bulge appears or if it is shaking. A tyre may have the tread depth of over 5 mm, but if it has an older DOT than 10 years and a repair patch the final grade will be “red”. Almost the same process goes with the part worn truck tyres, the only difference is that the brands are divided in three categories. All our part worn tyres are going trough a thorough visual inspection and afterwards are pressure checked.
